Overview:

This course is ideal for students looking to take their first steps into the world of Learning Bansuri in Hindustani Classical Style. The course aims at providing a strong foundation to beginners, The student will learn the basic elements of music and how to play them on flute. The course will lay the foundation for beginning Indian Classical Ragas. Besides the Live Sessions Student will be provided with exercises and notations of compositions and Songs. This will be a learning + Practice session where you will not only be learning the music but the experts will get you to practice the content, so you that know what to practice and how to practice.

  • Can play 2,3,4,5,6, Swara alankars
  • Must Have D# Flute(Side or straight)
  • Age group 8 years onwards
Overview:

This course reinforces the concepts of Swar Sadhana and patterning of Swaras by the repetitive practice of Alankars.

Pentatonic scale of Bhupali has already been introduced in the previous course, this course maps the Bandish to the rhythm in a patterns of fours to Teentaal. Raga Durga and Raga Yaman are also introduced covering overall 6 compositions across three different Ragas.

  • Can play Raga Bhupali with Taal
  • Age group 10 years onwards
Overview:

Introducing Advance level Alankars along with Ragas & Komal Swaras, this course will be focusing on improving the fingering Grip and making the fingers comfortable playing combinations and exercises using four different Ragas

Prerequisite:
  • Who knows course no B-002
  • Can play Raga Bhupali, Durga, Yaman
  • Can play with Teen taal
  • Learnt from a Guru for 1 year
  • Can play A Scale or G Scale
Overview:

This course will introduce the concept of Improvisation and will introduce beginner level Alaap. Concept of Jhaptaal (10 beats) will be introduced and composition will move towards advance level for the Yaman and Bhupali.

 

Besides these two Ragas, Among of the most popular Raga Hansdhwani and Raga Jog will be introduce with composition and basic info

Overview:

This Course will focus on Ragas with Komal Swaras and playing Alap and Taan. The concept of Rupak taal will be introduced. Overall this course will see compositions across three different Taals.

  • Knows upto I-001
  • Can play E Scale Flute
  • Playing flute for at least 2 years
Overview:

Introducing the soul of Indian Classical Flute, Meend, Gamak and strokes. Practicing the course content will help you improve the tonality of your flute playing and which will bring soul to your music.
